Trump Has Ominous Response For Iranian Leader Who Refuses Surrender

President Trump gave a short but pointed response to Ayatollah Khamenei’s refusal to abandon Iran’s nuclear ambitions, saying only, “Good luck.” His remark highlights growing tensions amid ongoing Israeli strikes on Iranian military and nuclear sites.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that Trump is still considering whether to use bunker-busting bombs on Iran’s Fordow facility. She said the president would decide in about two weeks to allow time for potential diplomatic engagement.

Trump disclosed that Iran has requested direct talks and may send a delegation to the White House. However, he denied initiating any peace talks, calling reports of U.S. outreach “fake news.” He posted on Truth Social that Iran should have accepted a prior deal, which he claims would have prevented this conflict.

Meanwhile, Israel is pressing the U.S. to strike Fordow, a heavily fortified nuclear facility buried inside a mountain. Trump acknowledged America’s unique military capability to destroy it but said he hasn’t made any final decision. He emphasized U.S. technological superiority, including stealth aircraft.

Despite being open to talks, Trump noted Iran’s request may have come too late. He criticized their delay in accepting earlier terms and reiterated a hardline position, ultimately calling for Iran’s “unconditional surrender.”
